The Cablesson Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter is designed for use with older Screens with only VGA inputs. Connect the adapter to the Mini-DVI port of the computer and the VGA end of the adapter to an external VGA monitor or projector.
You can use this cable in both video mirroring and extended desktop modes. The Cablesson 1080p rated Mini-DVI to VGA adapter is designed for the iMac (Intel Core Duo) and a Apple computer allowing you to connect to an external VGA monitor.
NOTE 1: The DVI output must be analogue not digital for this to work as VGA is an analogue signal.
NOTE 2: The newer MacBook and MackBook PRO Uni-Body that started shipping late 2008 early 2009 have mini-DisplayPort connectors not mini-DVI so this product will not work.
NOTE 3: DVI and Mini-DVI does not transfer audio so a separate cable may be required
